Hostel Roommate

I found out my roommate was cheating on their partner with someone in our friend group during the first month of the semester. I stayed quiet because I didn't want to be the one to blow up our entire social circle, but watching the heartbreak play out over the last few months has made me realize that I’ve prioritized my own social comfort over basic integrity, and I hate myself for it.
