1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Campus Reality (the “Platform”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform & Intermediary Status

Campus Reality operates strictly as an Intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and applicable Intermediary Guidelines). The Platform provides a technical infrastructure for users to share anonymous experiences, discussions, and educational updates.

  • We do not initiate the transmission of user-generated content.
  • We do not select the receiver of the transmission.
  • We do not modify the core informational content of user submissions, though we reserve the right to format or remove it.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Anonymity

You are solely responsible for the content you submit (“Confessions” and “Discussions”). While the Platform is designed to allow anonymous posting, you acknowledge that:

  • No Defamation or Hate Speech: You shall not post content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy, promoting enmity between groups, or otherwise unlawful.
  • No Unparliamentary Language: The Platform utilizes automated word-filtering algorithms. Content containing flagged terminology will be automatically quarantined and may be permanently deleted without notice.
  • No Intellectual Property Infringement: You must not post content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights of any third party.

By submitting content, you grant Campus Reality a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, distribute, and reproduce your content across the Platform.

4. Moderation & Removal of Content

While we are not obligated to actively monitor all user submissions, we retain the absolute right (but not the obligation) to remove, quarantine, or edit any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate, at our sole discretion, to maintain a safe environment.

5. Disclaimer regarding Recruitments and Admissions

The Platform aggregates and displays third-party notifications regarding academic admissions and staff recruitments. This information is provided strictly on an “as is” basis for informational purposes only.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of these notifications.
  • Users are strictly advised to independently verify all details (including deadlines, eligibility, and fees) via the official notification links provided.
  • Campus Reality holds zero liability for missed deadlines, rejected applications, or financial losses stemming from reliance on information found on this Platform.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campus Reality, its administrators, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any user-generated content displayed herein.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campus Reality against any legal claims, demands, or damages arising out of the content you submit or your breach of these Terms.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
