Indian Army TGC-145 2026 is the short window for the 145th Technical Graduate Course commencing July 2027 at IMA Dehradun. Last date — 29 October 2026, 1500 hours (3:00 pm). What the Indian Army TGC course actually is
TGC is an officer entry for engineering graduates. Selected candidates train at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, and take Permanent Commission. There is no written paper. The filter is shortlisting, then Services Selection Board (SSB), then medical, then merit.
This page is only for TGC-145. It is not TES, CDS, or JAG. Women are not in this TGC window as printed: unmarried male engineering graduates only.
What kind of role this is
Permanent Commission as Lieutenant after IMA. Pay Level-10 ₹56,100–1,77,500 plus Army allowances after commission. Training starts July 2027. The Army may also consider a candidate for other Arms or Services if it needs that stream.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you are an unmarried male, 20 to 27 years as on 01 July 2027, with B.E./B.Tech in a notified stream (Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or miscellaneous streams listed on the Army site). Fee is nil.
Skip if you are married, outside the age band on 01.07.2027, not an engineer in a printed stream, or you expected a written exam like GATE. Skip lookalike “join-indian-army” sites that are not .nic.in.
