Official Details
SNAP 2026 Symbiosis MBA admission is the common entrance for MBA seats at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Registration and payment close on 25 November 2026 (Wednesday), as printed on the SIBM Hyderabad important-dates page. Apply on snaptest.org. Institute calendar — sibmhyd.edu.in/important-dates.
What Symbiosis actually does
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) runs management institutes in Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Noida and Bengaluru. SNAP is their own computer-based test. A SNAP score does not place you in a classroom. Each institute still shortlists, runs group exercise and personal interaction, and publishes its own merit list.
The official SNAP homepage says one test covers 17 institutes and 32 MBA programmes. Your best of three attempts is counted. The homepage also says there is no normalisation across those attempts.
What kind of seat this is
This is a full-time postgraduate admission window for the 2027 MBA batch, not a job and not an internship. Teaching at SIBM Hyderabad is listed to start on 7 June 2027. That date is marked tentative on the institute page.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks, or 45% if you are SC or ST. Final-year students can apply for several programmes, but the degree rule is checked later. Cities on the official list are Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Noida and Bengaluru.
Skip if your aggregate is below 50% (45% for SC/ST). Skip the operations MBA at SIOM Nashik if you are not an engineering graduate. Skip SCMHRD MBA (Business Analytics) if you do not have two years of full-time work after graduation. Skip the non-engineering route for SCMHRD Infrastructure Development and Management if you do not have 12 months in infrastructure, energy, real estate, logistics or a related sector. Skip dual-degree banking seats if you are under 65% — those need higher marks plus the foreign university’s own rules. Do not pay an agent who says a seat is reserved. The university’s caution notice says admission is on merit and it does not charge a capitation fee.
