Official Details

MICAT 2027 MICA admission is the form for MICA Ahmedabad’s 2027 batch. MICAT I registration closes on 21 November 2026 at 11:50 PM. Apply on mica.ac.in/admissions. Sample questions — MICAT sample PDF.

What MICA actually does

MICA is a private communications and management institute at Ahmedabad. The admissions page lists seven programmes for the 2027 cycle. MICAT is MICA’s own test. For the two-year PGDM and PGDM-Communications, MICAT is not enough. You also need a CAT, XAT or GMAT score.

What kind of seat this is

These are full-time residential or off-campus residential programmes, not jobs. PGDM and PGDM-C are two years. Certificate programmes are one year or 11 months. The Fellow Programme in Management is four years and is described as PhD-equivalent. Fees marked with a star are indicative and can change.

Who should apply — and who should skip

Apply if you have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Final-year students can apply for the postgraduate programmes. The PGDM page says the final marksheet and passing certificate must reach MICA by 31 December 2027, or the provisional admission is cancelled.

Skip the PGDM, PGDM-C and Sports Management track if you have no CAT, XAT or GMAT score. Skip if your bachelor’s is below 50%. Skip the 11-month Certificate in Strategic Communication if you need an AICTE-approved diploma today — the page says AICTE approval for that programme is pending. Do not pay a second “interview fee” to an agent. The extra Rs 500 is only if you are shortlisted and you opted for an additional programme.
