Official Details
AILET 2027 admission is the All India Law Entrance Test for National Law University Delhi only. Last date for the online form — 10 November 2026. Apply on nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The university FAQ and the admission announcement are the sources for the numbers below. This test does not give you a seat at any other NLU. Those campuses use CLAT.
What NLU Delhi actually does
National Law University Delhi was set up in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of Delhi. The campus is at Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078. AILET is its own entrance for the five-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and the one-year LL.M. It is not a second form of CLAT. A student who wants both NLU Delhi and other NLUs has to file both tests and pay both fees.
What kind of seat this is
UG is a residential honours law degree on the Dwarka campus. The LL.M. announcement calls it a one-year non-residential programme. Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO have a separate direct-admission line and a later form date. They are exempted from sitting AILET.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you want NLU Delhi and you meet the marks line. For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) the announcement asks for the senior secondary examination with 45% marks, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST. Students appearing for Class 12 in 2027 can apply. For LL.M., the line is an LL.B. or equivalent with 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST and persons with disabilities. Final-year LL.B. students appearing in 2027 can apply. The FAQ says there is no maximum or minimum age.
Skip if you want a seat at NLU Bangalore, Hyderabad or any other Consortium member. AILET will not place you there. Skip if someone asks you to pay a “counselling agent”. The announcement says the university has not authorised any agent or agency. Complaints go to admission@nludelhi.ac.in. Helpdesk on the announcement: 011-40787555 and ailetsupport@nludelhi.ac.in.
