Official Details
SPJIMR PGDM admission 2027 is the Mumbai window for the two-year full-time PGDM and PGDM (Business Management) batch of 2027–29. The institute opened the form on 15 September 2026. Last date — 27 November 2026. A clock time is not printed on the admissions page. Apply on pgdmadmissions.spjimr.org. The institute note is on spjimr.org. Programme rules are on the PGDM admissions page and the PGDM (BM) admissions page.
What SPJIMR actually does
SPJIMR is a private postgraduate management institute of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, in Mumbai. It is not a government university and it does not take students through a state counselling portal. The two programmes on this form are residential, full-time, and start in June 2027. A PGDM is a diploma in management, not an MBA degree from a university. Recruiters still treat a good PGDM as a management course. Read the AICTE approval line on the institute site before you pay a seat-confirmation fee.
If the words CAT and GMAT are new: CAT is the Common Admission Test, used by many Indian management institutes. GMAT is an international test. SPJIMR accepts either for this cycle. Paying the SPJIMR form fee does not register you for CAT or GMAT. Those are separate forms, with their own fees and last dates.
What kind of seat this is
This is a study seat, not a job and not a stipend. Campus is Mumbai. The press note dated 16 September 2026 says both programmes are two-year, full-time and residential. One online form covers both. You mark programme preference on that form. PGDM lets you pick two specialisations from Finance, Information Management and Analytics, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain. PGDM (BM) is general management; students shape the course mix later. A bond is not printed on the pages opened for this note.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you have a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent, from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA, in any subject. Final-year students can apply. Work is not required. People with up to five years of work can apply. You need CAT 2026, or a GMAT score that is valid from 1 January 2024 to 10 December 2026.
Skip if you already have more than five years of work on the date the form uses — the press note says recent graduates and people with up to five years. Skip if your graduation marks are under 50% and you have no equivalent CGPA the page accepts. Skip if someone on WhatsApp asks for money to “confirm” an SPJIMR seat. The PGDM (BM) page says the institute has no management quota and does not appoint agents. Skip the Global Fast Track budget if you cannot pay extra travel and stay; that cost is not inside the tuition line.

- 16 September 2026 press note
- PGDM fee and scholarship page — need-based aid is invited in July, after you are in, not on the application form.
How to apply without getting played
- Open only pgdmadmissions.spjimr.org. If you applied in an older cycle, the portal says to log in with the same email and mobile.
- Pay Rs 2,500 on the institute gateway. Do not transfer that amount to a person.
- Register for CAT 2026 or keep a valid GMAT. The SPJIMR fee does not buy the test.
- Save the acknowledgement. The institute writes to shortlisted candidates directly.
- Ignore calls that offer a confirmed seat for a fee. Report them to the institute, not to a broker.
