The passion project

I spent four months doing a massive, hyper-realistic visual reconstruction of how historical sites like Hampi looked 500 years ago during their peak for my digital humanities elective. I poured my soul into getting the architectural accuracy right, and during the final presentation, the professor just said, 'The textures look a bit like a video game,' and moved on. I wanted the earth to swallow me whole.
