This is a six-month lab internship at a DRDO materials laboratory in Kanpur. It is not a Scientist ‘B’ recruitment and not a remote certificate course. You sit inside DMSRDE. The lab does not give a hostel. The stipend is ₹5,000 a month only if you actually attend.

What DMSRDE actually does

Defence Materials and Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE) is a DRDO laboratory on GT Road, Kanpur. The lab works on defence materials, stores, polymers, textiles and related science. Interns join a project guide assigned by DMSRDE. That guide is the main guide. The college cannot run the project from outside.

What kind of internship this is

Paid student internship. Six months from the joining date printed for selected students — tentative start 26 October 2026. Location is DMSRDE, Kanpur only. Offline.
