What InStep actually is
A select list of top-ranked institutions. India names printed include IITs (Delhi, Bombay, Madras, BHU, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Guwahati, Roorkee) and IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore). It is not open off-campus for every Indian college. Location is mainly headquarters, Bangalore.
What kind of internship this is
Year-round / rolling, flexible to academic calendars. No single close date on the public hub. The page prints “all expenses paid” (allowance, flights, visa, accommodation, transfers, insurance). It does not print a monthly rupee CTC — do not invent one.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if your campus is on the live partner list and your TPO/InStep path is open.
Skip if you are treating InStep as Infosys off-campus for all B.Tech colleges. Also skip mixing it with Winternship (76-day winter CS/IT via TPO) — that is a different Infosys intern product.
