What Integrated Test Range actually does
Integrated Test Range (ITR) is a DRDO laboratory at Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha 756025. It is under the Ministry of Defence. The lab runs flight and missile test work on the Odisha coast. This notice is not a scientist job and not a six-month project internship. It is a one-year apprentice seat under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended.

What kind of seat this ITR Chandipur graduate diploma apprentice 2026 is
Two training categories. Graduate apprentice stipend is ₹12,300 per month. Technician (diploma) apprentice stipend is ₹10,900 per month. Training is 12 months, counted from the day the apprenticeship contract is signed. The notice says the seat count is only indicative and can go up or down later. ITR does not have to give you a job after the year ends. No TA or DA for the written test or interview. No government quarter, hostel or transport during the test or during training.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you are an Indian national, at least 18 years old, and you passed the named degree or diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 as a regular student. You must already be registered on nats.education.gov.in. You must be able to sit in Chandipur, Balasore for 12 months and send a typed Annexure-A so that it reaches ITR on or before 2 November 2026.
Skip if you passed before 2022, you studied as a distance or private candidate, you already hold a higher qualification than the row you want, or you already did training or a job of one year or more after that essential qualification. Skip if you are not on NATS. Skip if someone asks for a processing fee. No fee is printed on this advertisement. Selection
- Shortlisting is ITR’s own method. Meeting the minimum rule does not mean you will be called.
- Selection is a written test, a personal interview, or both, and only for shortlisted candidates.
- Call letters come by website or email. ITR will not post a hard copy. You have to download and print the admit card.
- Certificates are checked before the apprenticeship contract is made. A mismatch with the printed qualification gets the candidature rejected.
- A medical fitness certificate is required at joining.
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up to influence selection cancels the candidature.
- Reservation follows the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. No UR / OBC / SC / ST / EWS table is printed on this PDF.

How to apply without getting played
- Register on nats.education.gov.in and keep the enrolment proof.
- Download Annexure-A and type it. A handwritten form is rejected. Only the signature is handwritten.
- Attach self-attested copies of 10th, 12th, diploma and degree mark sheets and certificates, caste certificate if you have one, and identity proof.
- Write marks as a percentage. If you have CGPA, convert it by your university rule. That conversion can be checked at document verification.
- Put the form in a sealed envelope. Write on it: Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category … and Subject/Discipline …
- Send only by Speed Post or Registered Post to The Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha 756025. It must reach on or before 2 November 2026. Posting on 2 November is late if the envelope arrives later.
