SLAT 2027 Symbiosis law admission is the common test for undergraduate law seats at Symbiosis Law Schools. Registration and payment began on 21 August 2026 and close on 4 December 2026 (Friday). Apply only on slat-test.org. Eligibility for each campus is on the official eligibility page. Institute dates for SLS Noida are on symlaw.edu.in.

What Symbiosis International (Deemed University) actually does

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a private deemed university. It runs several colleges. For law after Class 12, the route is not SNAP. SNAP is the MBA test. This window is the Symbiosis Law Admission Test, called SLAT.

The official site lists four law schools: Symbiosis Law School Pune, Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur. A Class 12 student who wants BA LLB, BBA LLB or BCom LLB at these schools has to sit this test. Paying a consultant does not replace the form.

What kind of seat this SLAT 2027 Symbiosis law admission is

This is a full-time undergraduate law seat for the 2027-28 batch, not a job and not a stipend. The test is computer-based, one hour, 60 objective questions across 5 sections, in 62 test cities. There is no negative marking. A student can take one or both dates. The official site says the best of two attempts is used.

Test 1 is 19 December 2026 (Saturday). Test 2 is 26 December 2026 (Saturday). Admit cards go live on 11 December 2026 for Test 1 and 18 December 2026 for Test 2. The result date printed on the SLS Noida important-dates page is 12 January 2027 (Tuesday). Timings are on the admit card, not on the dates table.

Who should apply — and who should skip

Apply if you have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates the printed minimum is 40%. The same marks line is printed for SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur.

Skip if you want an MBA at Symbiosis. That window is SNAP, already listed separately, and it closes on 25 November 2026. Skip if your Class 12 marks are below the printed line. Skip if someone asks for a donation or a “seat confirmation” fee outside the official portal. The eligibility page says no donation or capitation fee is required for any Symbiosis institute, and it warns parents against outside agencies.

Available positions

No category-wise vacancy split is printed on the SLAT 2027 pages we opened. A separate disability page says SIU reserves 3% seats for persons with disabilities within the sanctioned intake, and asks for a disability certificate and Unique Disability ID at registration. That is a horizontal provision, not a seat count.

How to prepare (free, official)

How to apply without getting played

  1. Open only slat-test.org. Do not pay a coaching centre or an agent to “hold” a seat.
  2. Register, verify the OTP, and check spelling of your name and board marks before submit. The site says no changes after registration.
  3. Pay Rs 2,550 for each test you want. If you want both dates, that is two test fees.
  4. Add Rs 1,000 for each programme. Four campuses are not covered by one programme fee.
  5. Save the payment receipt. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  6. After the result, complete the institute form. For Noida that clock runs till 14 January 2027, which is later than the SLAT close. Missing 4 December still means you cannot sit the test.
