RRB paramedical CEN 05/2026 is the Railway Recruitment Boards detailed notice for 590 paramedical posts. The form opened on 15 September 2026. The last date to submit the online application is 14 October 2026, 23:59 hours. Fee for a submitted form can be paid till 16 October 2026. Apply only through the link on the unified RRB site, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in. The detailed CEN was published on 14 September 2026. Indicative notice in Employment News is dated 12 September 2026. Open jobs on the Campus Reality recruitments board.
What RRB paramedical CEN 05/2026 actually is
Railway Recruitment Boards run the exam. The job is with a Railway zone or production unit, not with a coaching centre. You pick one RRB and then mark the zones and posts you want inside that RRB. A second form to another RRB, or a second form to the same RRB, gets every form rejected. The CEN also says that attempt can debar you from future RRB and RRC exams.
Vacancies are provisional. They can go up or down. Annexure B prints the RRB and zone-wise split. There is no single all-India UR-OBC-SC-ST table on the opening page, so this page does not invent one.
Who should apply, and who should skip
Apply only if the printed degree or diploma for that post is already in hand on 14 October 2026. The CEN says candidates waiting for the final result of the prescribed qualification are not eligible. A marksheet that arrives after the closing date does not save the form unless the date of declaration of result is on or before 14 October 2026 and you can show it at document verification.
- Skip if you want a desk clerk post. This CEN is nursing, pharmacy, lab, radiography and related medical trades.
- Skip if your eyesight or physical standard cannot meet the medical class printed against that post (B1, C1 or C2). A fail at medical does not get you another post.
- Skip if you already filed CEN 05/2026 at a different RRB. Multiple applications are a reject, not a backup plan.
- Skip paid WhatsApp groups that ask for a form fee. RRB does not collect money on UPI to a person.

EBC gets a fee cut only. It does not reserve a seat. Minority fee waiver needs an affidavit (Annexure IV) at document verification. OBC-NCL certificate for reservation must be issued on or after 1 April 2026 and not later than 14 October 2026. Account details, mobile and email filled at Create an Account cannot be changed later. Selection stages
One online application. Then a single-stage computer-based test of 100 questions in 90 minutes (120 minutes if you are eligible for a scribe). Professional ability is 70 marks, general awareness 10, arithmetic with intelligence and reasoning 10, general science 10. The section split is indicative. Wrong answers cut one-third of the mark for that question. Minimum qualifying marks are 40 percent for UR and EWS, 30 percent for OBC-NCL and SC, and 25 percent for ST. PwBD candidates may get a 2-mark relaxation if reserved PwBD seats are short. Document verification calls candidates equal to the number of vacancies, on CBT merit. Tie goes to the older candidate, then A to Z of the given name. Empanelment needs CBT merit, document verification, and the medical exam for that post. Zone allotment follows your options, merit, medical standard and vacancies. CBT city can be in another state. Date and centre cannot be changed.
Free official prep
Read Annexure C of CEN 05/2026 on the RRB site for the professional syllabus. For the 10-mark arithmetic and science blocks, Class 10 NCERT is enough to start. Do not buy a course because a page says selection is sure. It is not.
