The Gujarat GCAS portal still has admission forms open for 2026-27. Most UG and PG forms close on 21 October 2026, including PG, LL.B., B.Ed., M.Ed. and LL.M. One Under Graduate (Regular) form stays open till 30 November 2026, and the nursing, physiotherapy and optometry forms close on 29 October 2026. Official site: gcas.gujgov.edu.in.

What GCAS is

Gujarat Common Admission Services is the single window of the Education Department for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions to colleges and universities linked to the portal. After the main rounds finished, mop-up and college-level processes continue for remaining seats. The homepage currently lists open registration windows with different end dates.

Who should apply and who should skip

Apply if you are a Gujarat Class 12 or graduate student (or eligible as per the programme) and have not yet secured a seat, or want to change preference for a still-open form. Check the exact programme list on the portal because not every course is open. Skip if your preferred college has already closed its window or if you already hold a confirmed seat you do not want to leave.

Post Graduate (Regular including PG Diploma), LL.B., B.Ed., M.Ed., LL.M.: till 21 October 2026

The portal does not name the course behind the 30 November UG form. GCAS says admission and enrolment dates are set by each college or university, so check the News & Circulars tab or the college website before you rely on a later date.

How to apply

Visit gcas.gujgov.edu.in.
Click Admission (for New Student) or log in if already registered.
Complete profile, upload documents and select preferences.
Submit the form before the end date shown for that form.
Watch for offers and confirm at the college as instructed.

FAQs

Is the main centralised round still open? Main rounds finished earlier. These are remaining open forms and mop-up style windows.

What is the last date? 21 October 2026 for most UG and PG forms. One UG form runs till 30 November 2026, and nursing, MPT and M.Opto forms close on 29 October 2026.
