Add to calendar
ISB PGP admission 2028 is open for the Post Graduate Programme in Management, Class of 2028. Round 1 closed on 20 September 2026. The current close is Round 2 on 6 December 2026. Dates are on the official deadline page. Programme rules are on the PGP page. The application portal linked from the deadline page is isb.edu/programmes/isb-application-portal.
What the Indian School of Business actually does
The Indian School of Business is a private business school, not a government IIM. The PGP page lists two campuses, Hyderabad and Mohali, and a duration of 12 months. This is a management programme for people who already have a job history. It is not a Class 12 admission and it is not a stipend.
ISB also runs other programmes, including PGP PRO and a Young Leaders track. Those are different forms. This page is only the one-year PGP for the Class of 2028.
What kind of seat this ISB PGP admission 2028 is
It is one application per year. A form sent after 20 September 2026 is read in Round 2. A form sent after 6 December 2026 moves to Round 3. The school says it cannot accept Class of 2028 applications after 17 January 2027. Round 2 interviews are printed as week 4 of December 2026 to week 1 of February 2027, with a final decision in mid-February 2027. Those interview weeks are marked tentative on the deadline page.
The PGP page says you need 24+ months of work experience as of 31 March, and a valid GMAT or GRE score. Only test-centre scores count. An online-at-home score is not the line printed there.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, at least 24 months of full-time work as of 31 March, and a test-centre GMAT or GRE. If your undergraduate medium was not English, the deadline-page eligibility also asks for TOEFL or IELTS. You also need a completed form and an interview, face-to-face or online.
Skip if you are in the final year of college with no full-time work. Less than 2 years of work is pointed to the PGP YL programme, which is a separate form. Skip if you only have an at-home GMAT or GRE. Skip if you already submitted a complete application this year. The deadline page says a candidate may apply only once per application year. Skip any agent who offers a seat before the interview.

Selection
- Submit one complete application. Round 2 close is 6 December 2026.
- Attach a test-centre GMAT or GRE. Unofficial scores are allowed only if the test was taken on or before the deadline of the round you are in. The deadline page says this for GMAT/GRE applicants.
- Interview window for Round 2 is tentative: late December 2026 to early February 2027.
- Decision for Round 2 is printed as mid-February 2027.
- If you miss 6 December, Round 3 is still open until 17 January 2027. After that the Class of 2028 form closes.
How to prepare (free, official)
- PGP application deadlines — round dates and the one-application rule.
- PGP programme page — 12 months, Hyderabad and Mohali, 24+ months of work, test-centre scores.
- ISB application portal — the form.
How to apply without getting played
- Open the ISB portal from the school site. A consultant cannot submit a second application for you in the same year.
- Check the work-experience clock. The printed line is 24+ months as of 31 March, not “by the time classes start.”
- Use a test-centre GMAT or GRE. Do not assume an at-home score will be read.
- The application fee amount is not printed on the deadline page. Pay only the figure shown inside the official portal.
- Incomplete forms roll forward. A half-filled Round 2 form is not a submitted Round 2 form.
- Programme fee is not printed on the deadline page. Do not budget from a coaching-site number.
