Official Details
XAT 2027 XLRI admission is the form XLRI Jamshedpur uses for its management programmes. Registration closes on 6 December 2026. Apply on xatonline.in/registration. The live form is at applications.xatonline.in.
What XLRI actually does
XLRI Xavier School of Management is a private business school in Jamshedpur. It conducts the Xavier Aptitude Test for XAMI member schools. The official registration page says XAT scores are used by 250+ institutes. This page is about the XLRI route inside that form, not a promise of a seat at every college that accepts the score.
The applications page says admissions are on merit and there is no management or NRI quota. It also warns applicants not to fall for fake admission offers.
What kind of seat this is
This is a postgraduate management admission for the 2027 intake. The exam is a computer-based test, not a campus walk-in. Choosing an XLRI programme on the form is an extra paid step. Paying only the XAT fee does not put you in the XLRI shortlist.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you have a recognised bachelor’s degree of at least three years in any discipline, or you are in the final year and will finish the degree in time for the joining rule XLRI prints. The registration page itself does not restate the marks cutoff. Read the programme brochure before you add the Rs 200 programme line.
Skip if you only want a government IIM seat — that clock was CAT, and it is already closed. Skip if someone asks you to pay a “seat confirmation” outside xatonline.in. Skip the GMAT/GRE route unless you are applying for the printed exception: Indian candidates can use GMAT/GRE for PGDM (GM) and the XLRI PGDM (LSCM) double-masters pathway; NRI, foreign, PIO and OCI candidates can use GMAT for all programmes.
