DSSSB advertisement 04/2026 (F.No.1 (452)/P&P/DSSSB/2026/Advt./5114, dated 30 September 2026) is a combined examination for Delhi District Courts. Online applications open on 6 October 2026 from 12:00 noon and close on 4 November 2026 till 11:00 pm. After that the link on dsssbonline.nic.in is disabled. The vacancy notice is on dsssb.delhi.gov.in. Post-wise rules are also listed at dsssb.delhi.gov.in/dsssb-vacancies.

What DSSSB actually does

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board is the recruiting board of the Government of NCT of Delhi. It does not run the courts. For this advertisement it only invites forms and conducts the examination on behalf of Delhi District Courts. Posting, if you are selected, is in District and Sessions Courts or Family Courts in Delhi, not in a ministry outside the city.

The office address on the notice is FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi 110092. That is the board office, not your posting.

What kind of role this DSSSB advertisement 04/2026 is

These are regular court-staff posts, not an internship and not a contract training seat. Five post families are advertised: Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server, and Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon. Vacancies are tentative, including backlog, and the notice says they can change with inputs from the indenting departments.

You apply online only. The notice says applications by post, by hand or by mail will not be accepted, and the board will not enter into correspondence on that.

Who should apply — and who should skip

Apply if you are an Indian citizen, you can work in Delhi, and you match one post family. Senior Personal Assistant needs a degree plus shorthand at 110 words per minute and typing at 40 words per minute. Personal Assistant needs a degree, shorthand at 100 words per minute, typing at 40 words per minute, and computer knowledge. Junior Judicial Assistant needs a degree and typing of not less than 40 words per minute on a computer. Process Server needs matric or equivalent, a valid light motor vehicle licence, and two years of unblemished driving. Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon needs matric or equivalent. Age for these posts is 18 to 27 years as on 1 June 2026, which means a date of birth not earlier than 2 June 1999 and not later than 1 June 2008. Date of birth is taken from the matric certificate. Qualification and experience are reckoned as on 4 November 2026.

Skip if you wanted a central SSC CHSL desk job outside Delhi, if you do not have the shorthand speed for the assistant posts, or if you do not hold a valid LMV licence with two clean driving years for Process Server. OBC reservation here is for Delhi OBC with a non-creamy-layer certificate. A state OBC certificate from another state does not reserve a Delhi OBC seat. Do not pay any agent who claims a form slot. The only fee is the board fee on the official portal.

How to prepare (free, official)

How to apply without getting played

  1. Open only dsssbonline.nic.in. A lookalike domain that asks for a “registration charge” is not the board.
  2. One post code family per form logic as the portal allows. Read the post code before you pay the Rs 100 slab.
  3. Pay only through the portal’s SBI e-Pay. Keep the acknowledgement. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and ESM candidates are exempt.
  4. The board says it is not responsible if you miss a date because you did not check dsssb.delhi.gov.in or the Delhi District Courts site.
