MCC NEET PG 2026 counselling Round 1 registration starts on 12 October 2026 and closes at noon on 21 October 2026. This is the All India Quota and 100% Deemed/Central universities counselling run by the Medical Counselling Committee. Apply only on mcc.nic.in. The schedule below is from the tentative MCC notice.

About the Medical Counselling Committee

MCC conducts the online counselling for NEET PG seats under the 50% AIQ and for Deemed and Central universities. State counselling is separate. This notice is only for the MCC rounds.

Nature of the process

This is not a new exam. It is seat allotment for candidates who have already qualified NEET PG 2026. You register, pay, fill choices, and join the allotted college if you get a seat. Stipend, if any, is an institute rule after joining, not part of the counselling fee.

Who applies and who skips

Apply if your NEET PG 2026 result makes you eligible for the AIQ or Deemed/Central seats and you want a seat in this round. Skip if you only want a pure state-quota seat (that is handled by the state authority), if you have already joined a seat you do not want to upgrade, or if you miss the registration window.

Dates and fee

Seat matrix verification by institutes: 10 to 12 October 2026. Registration and payment: 12 October to 21 October 2026 up to 12:00 noon (payment facility up to 3:00 pm on 21 October). Choice filling: 13 October to 22 October 2026 up to 10:00 am. Choice locking: from 4:00 pm on 21 October to 10:00 am on 22 October. Seat allotment processing: 22-23 October. Result: 24 October 2026. Reporting: 26 October to 2 November 2026. Fee is the amount printed on the MCC portal for the round. Official schedule PDF is on the MCC site.
