What NABARD actually does
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is an all-India apex organisation wholly owned by the Government of India. It finances and supervises rural and agricultural credit. This advertisement is not for the regular Grade A or Grade B officer exam. It is a contract hiring of cyber-security and IT specialists for the Chief Information Security Office and the Cyber Security and IT Examination cell of the Department of Supervision.
The contract is for two years, extendable by three more years, for a maximum of five years, on the terms printed in the advertisement. Posting is at the Head Office in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
What kind of role this is
These are contract specialist roles. You work on security operations, information security, network security, ethical hacking, IT audit, cyber and network security, or IT infrastructure and banking systems. Some roles (especially SOC Analyst) may require rotational shifts for 24×7 operations. There is no regular cadre absorption promised.
