About NIT Patna

National Institute of Technology Patna is an institute of national importance under the Ministry of Education. This window is a special call under the MeitY Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT, Phase-II.

Nature of the programme

One seat is full-time with fellowship under the scheme. The other is part-time without the full-time fellowship. Research areas are Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/ITES. Departments: ECE, CSE, Electrical Engineering.

Same academic marks. Sponsored candidates from PSU, government, R&D, industry or educational institutes (as printed) can apply for the part-time seat.
