What Bharat Electronics Limited does

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence.

The Navi Mumbai unit is taking apprentices for one year of training under NATS (graduates and diploma) and NAPS (ITI).

This is apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. It does not lead to regular employment at BEL.

What kind of role this is

One-year apprenticeship at the BEL Navi Mumbai unit. Selection is by walk-in interview only. No advance online or offline form. No accommodation. Canteen at nominal rates. No TA/DA.

Eligibility

  • 4-year B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from an AICTE/GOI recognised institute.
  • Passed on or after 01.10.2023.
  • Age maximum 25 years as on 01.10.2026 (relaxation: 5 years SC/ST, 3 years OBC, 10 years PwBD).
  • Must not have undergone or be undergoing NATS/NAPS apprenticeship elsewhere.
  • Register on NATS 2.0 portal.

2. Graduate Apprentice — Mechanical — Rs 17,500 per month 4 Vacancies

Eligibility

  • 4-year B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/GOI recognised institute.
  • Passed on or after 01.10.2023.
  • Age maximum 25 years as on 01.10.2026 with standard relaxations.
  • Not previously or currently in NATS/NAPS apprenticeship.
  • NATS registration required.

3. Graduate Apprentice — Computer Science / IT — Rs 17,500 per month 1 Vacancy

  • 4-year B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology from an AICTE/GOI recognised institute.
  • Passed on or after 01.10.2023.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE/GOI approved institute.
  • Passed on or after 01.10.2023.

  • No prior NATS apprenticeship.

7. ITI Apprentice — various trades — Rs 10,560 to 11,040 per month 11 Vacancies

Eligibility

  • NCVT or SCVT certificate in: Fitter (4), Turner (1), Machinist (1), Electrician (2), Draughtsman Mechanical (1), COPA (1), Welder (1).
  • Age maximum 21 years as on 01.10.2026 (relaxation: 5 years SC/ST, 3 years OBC, 10 years PwBD).
  • Not undergoing or completed NAPS apprenticeship elsewhere.
  • Register on NAPS / Apprenticeship India portal.

Selection

How to apply

  1. Complete NATS or NAPS registration and keep the enrolment printout.
  2. Carry originals plus copies: 10th and 12th marks cards, all semester mark sheets, provisional certificate, category certificate if applicable, Aadhaar, PAN, resume.
  3. Report at L1, MIDC Industrial Area, Taloja, Navi Mumbai – 410208 at 10:00 AM on 22 October 2026 (Graduate/Diploma) or 23 October 2026 (ITI).
  4. You can register on the portal on the day of the walk-in, but earlier registration is safer.
  5. No TA/DA is paid. Do not pay any agent. Completion does not guarantee employment at BEL.
