1. Integrated PhD — Research track Open
Eligibility criteria
Four-year / eight-semester undergraduate degree in a relevant branch of Engineering or Science with at least 75% marks. Valid GATE score in a relevant subject is required. Shortlisting based on undergraduate marks and GATE.
2. PhD — Regular and part-time Open
Eligibility criteria
Master’s degree or equivalent with a good academic (and where applicable technical) record. Relevant national-level entrance qualification or domain-specific test by IIIT Bangalore. GATE desirable but not always mandatory (e.g., VLSI and Embedded Systems). Part-time applicants need NOC from employer.
3. MS by Research — Full-time Open
Eligibility criteria
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent. Specific domain rules on the institute site. Not offered in Mathematics and Physics in this window as per current listing.
