NTA SWAYAM July 2026 semester examination registration is open. You can apply for any of the 662 courses till 31 October 2026 (11:50 pm). Exam fee last date is 1 November. Official portal: exams.nta.nic.in/swayam.
SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is the Government of India platform for free online courses from universities and institutions. Many courses carry credit that universities can recognise. The NTA conducts proctored computer-based exams for learners who want a certificate for the July 2026 semester courses.
Who should apply and who should skip
Apply if you are already enrolled in a SWAYAM course and want the official certificate, or if you plan to complete one before the exam. Certificate courses often need Class 12; UG and PG courses need the relevant prior qualification. Skip if you only want free learning without a certificate, or if the exam dates (8-12 December) clash with your other commitments. Check the exact eligibility for your chosen course in the Information Bulletin.
