Railway Recruitment Boards conduct centralised employment notifications for non-gazetted posts on Indian Railways. Station Master is a Level 6 operational post responsible for train movements, safety and station working. From the 2026 cycle, Station Master is notified separately from NTPC.

Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you are a graduate (any discipline) and aged between 20 and 30 years on the cut-off date that will be printed in the detailed notification. Lower age limit was raised from 18 to 20 by Railway Board RBE No. 81/2026.
Skip if you are below 20, lack a completed graduation, or cannot meet the A-2 medical standard. Wait for the detailed CEN PDF before paying any fee or filling the form.
