IREL (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Atomic Energy. It mines and processes mineral sands to produce Ilmenite, Rutile, Zircon, Sillimanite and Garnet. It also operates Rare Earths Extraction Plants and has upcoming projects including a Rare Earth and Titanium Theme Park at Bhopal.
What kind of role this is
These are regular posts after one year of training. During training you get a consolidated stipend of Rs.34,200 per month. After absorption you join W-3 grade with pay scale Rs.22,000-88,000. Posting is unit-wise as chosen at application time, but the job is transferable across India.
Who should apply — and who should skip
Apply if you have ITI or NAC in Fitter, Electrician, Instrumentation or AOCP trade (or 10+2 Science with Chemistry and 50% for AOCP), plus two years of post-qualification experience in a reputed industrial establishment (apprenticeship under the Act counts), and are not more than 35 years as on 9 November 2026.

Eligibility criteria
ITI / NAC in AOCP or +2 Science (Intermediate/Higher Secondary) with Chemistry as one subject and 50% marks in aggregate. Two years’ experience in operation of chemical and allied process industry. Units: Chavara 4, RED Aluva 11, REPM Vizag 3, RETTP Bhopal 2.
